“I’m So Tired of Being the Strong One”

When strength becomes a survival mask, we forget what softness feels like. This letter comes from someone who’s held up the world—but needs to exhale.

Dear Lovely,

Everyone depends on me. I’m the rock. The one people come to. But I’m tired, Lovely. I don’t want to fall apart—I just want a moment to not be strong. Can I bring that exhaustion with me into a session? — Quietly Breaking

Dear Quietly Breaking,

Yes. Please bring it. You don’t need to hold it all together here. You are allowed to rest. You don’t have to explain or perform. In Soft Space, you can just be—a human, not a hero. Let your shoulders drop. Let someone else be strong for you, even just for an hour.

Softly, Lovely
