Intro: Sometimes we’re surrounded by people but still feel invisible. In this letter, someone bravely admits what many of us feel but are afraid to say out loud.

Dear Lovely,

I don’t know how to say this without sounding pathetic, but I’m lonely. Deeply lonely. I have people around me, but I still feel... unseen. I’m not looking for pity—I just want to feel connected. Is that something cuddle therapy can really help with? — Lonely but Proud

Dear Lonely but Proud,

You are not pathetic. You are human. Loneliness is a quiet ache that so many carry, even when surrounded by others. Cuddle therapy offers connection without pressure. Presence without pity. You don’t need to explain your need—you’re already worthy of comfort and care. When you’re ready, I’ll be here to hold space just for you.

With love, Lovely
