Removing the Unknown = Removing the Fear
Booking a cuddle therapy session for the first time can feel exciting, curious... or a little nerve-wracking. That’s completely normal. Here’s exactly what to expect so you can breathe easier and show up just as you are.
🗓️ 1. Booking Is Simple & Private
You’ll fill out a short intake form (online or during a quick phone chat) to share your needs, boundaries, and what you hope to get from the session. This helps your practitioner tailor the experience to you.
No pressure, no judgment—just information to create a safe space.
🚪 2. Arrival: Warm Welcome, No Surprises
When you arrive (or connect virtually, if available), you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful, clean environment. No shoes, no chaos—just calm.
You’ll talk for a few minutes first to check in. You’ll go over:
Boundaries (what feels good, what doesn’t)
Comfort levels (positions, pressure, preferred silence or conversation)
Any emotional or physical things you want me to know
There’s no rushing—just a slow, steady pace that feels good to you.
🧸 3. The Session: All About You
This isn’t just “hugging”—it’s intentional, respectful touch and presence. You might:
Snuggle side-by-side like old friends
Hold hands
Be gently cradled or spooned (with consent)
Just sit or lay in silence, or talk about anything on your mind
You always have control. You can pause, shift, or stop anything at any time. Your “yes” and “no” are honored.
🌬️ 4. Emotions Are Welcome
Sometimes cuddling opens the door to feelings—warmth, relief, tears, laughter. All of that is okay here. You don’t have to hide or explain anything.
This is a safe, judgment-free zone.
🌈 5. Aftercare & Closure
At the end of the session, you’ll have time to gently transition back. You can share how you’re feeling, or just sit in peaceful silence. If you need grounding tools or a short chat before leaving, we’ll do that too.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself.
💬 Final Words:
Cuddle therapy is not about being “fixed” or “touchy.” It’s about being held—with respect, care, and zero pressure. If you've been needing comfort without strings... you just found it.
